6th Street:

Originally built circa 1910 on the weekends by its original owner, a set builder from a bourgeoning 'Hollywood Studio’ this beach getaway clap board shack was transformed into one of Ocean Park's prized Craftsman Residences by Niagara Construction.  Due to the 50% rule in Santa Monica at the time of renovation, the existing structure had to remain intact as new shoring and foundation were laid.  The old house was suspended as it was entombed by the new construction.   This hand detailed, custom wood appointed  home  was rendered in the same old school craftsman style construction  paying respect to the original 'set built' home
