This lee + mundwiler  study was  built on a 25 foot wide by 90 foot deep lot and validates the design principle 'Less is More'.  Utilizing building materials garnered from Spain, New Zealand and Canada an eye catching residence never before seen was built.  The house was documented  by renowned  photographers  Julius Schulman and Articulis and has been published in the New York and Los Angeles  Times.  Affectionately  known as  the 'Coconut House'  by its designers,  it won the AIA award for single family dwellings in 2006 and still draws the attention of architecture students and enthusiasts alike.
